As I was going through pictures this morning, I realized a couple things:
1.) I take too many pictures (if there's such a thing).
2.) This year is going by way too fast.
My goal is to quickly recap...starting with March of this year...so that I can continue our Hawaii journey in chronological order.
At the beginning of March, my parents had to take a trip to Cleveland, so Dan and I met them out there for a day. When we got into town, we ate lunch at this delicious restaurant in Little Italy. We stopped by Legacy Village for a little shopping. And we ended the evening with dinner at Lola Bistro (where Dan took me for our anniversary).
On their way back from Cleveland, my parents spent the afternoon in Erie before heading back home to Schenectady. We had lunch and visited for a bit.
Fun Sydney pictures from March...
She's going to be so excited when our furniture gets delivered here in Hawaii and she can go back to her favorite spots.
Erie friends, if you haven't already been here, you must try Mighty Fine Doughnuts, a 24/7 doughnut shop. Yes, 24/7...
Throughout the month of March, we had some unseasonably warm days in Erie. We enjoyed going for lots of walks to the park across the street from our neighborhood.
My car hit 100,000 miles! All those long road trips to and from Grove City, Albany, and other places. I love my car.
We had our first BBQ in March, too (due to the lovely warm weather). Sydney loves to keep Dan company no matter where he is in the house. Even when she's inside and he's outside, she just stares at him out the window.
Towards the end of the month, my 6th graders had a field trip to the Carnegie Museum of Art and History. It was a really fun day with a great group of students.
We ended the month celebrating River's 2nd birthday! We love our friends Brooke and Freeland and their beautiful growing family. To see more pictures of this fabulous little party, check out Brooke's blog here. All of my Erie friends threw amazing parties - themes, decor, food, everything...
Boy, we miss all of our friends!
Keep Smiling...
