Valentine's Traditions

One thing I love about being married is coming up with our own traditions.  

For our first married Valentine's Day, we decided to stay in because we had just gotten Sydney (our yellow lab puppy) and we didn't want to leave her home alone.  Still wanting it to be special, of course, Dan made me an amazing surf and turf dinner.  It was perfect.  And delicious. We decided that it would be our annual Valentine's Day tradition.  

2010

Last year, we carried on the tradition.  Again, Sydney was right there in the kitchen with Dan.  It's fun to see how much she grew in one year - totally feel like a proud mom right now.

2011

This year, we celebrated our 3rd married Valentine's Day - I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Dan sent me beautiful flowers at work, we made homemade Valentines for each other, and we enjoyed another delicious lobster dinner together.  

2012

It's crazy to think that next year we will celebrate Valentine's Day in Hawaii!  I wonder how our traditions will change.
